The Buckeye Hills Shooting Range is located in the Buckeye Hills Recreation Area, just 5 miles south of Buckeye, Arizona. Buckeye Hills Recreation Area is managed by the Maricopa County Department of Parks and Recreation. The Recreation Area and Shooting Range is located about 10.5 miles south of I-10 on S.R. 85. For those with a GPS, the Lat and Lon is 112.64255 and 33.27679.
The Public Shooting weekends have been a success. A couple of thousand shooters have come out and enjoyed themselves, and we have made many changes over the last 11 months. We have added shade cover over the firing line. And we now have a seperate break area for eating lunch which is also covered.

The shooting range portion was managed by the Buckeye Police Department until March of 2003. That is when Maricopa County accepted the key back from Buckeye PD and began a search for a new partner. As of February 1st, 2004, it is now managed by the Buckeye Sportsman Club.
