Nice range overall with good plans upon talking to staff. Still could use some improvements: I and my 8yr old son were constantly showered with brass, tried to keep cleaning it up and got in trouble, took more time cleaning up after others than getting some "good" shooting in. Some range guys could use a lesson in manners, others are helpful and friendly, get rid of rudies, son and I did not feel all that welcome for first visit. Will come back unless we find another good range close.

I like the range a lot. Staff are helpful and safety oriented. A good safe place for newbies or experienced shooters alike.

Went there when it was a bit busy. Just bought a rifle and wanted to check it out and zero it, I am definetley an ameture with guns, don't have much experience with them and i guess it showed. I felt like staff was looming over me at all times which really did not make me feel that comfortable or want to be there at all. Staff did help a couple of times with scope adjustments and ammo information. I now have a decent place in the desert now which i like much better.

Been there a dozen times or so and like it.
Would like (even if only a few tables) 300+ yards
Staff have always been friendly, even to jerks. Yea there are always a few.

This was my third and last visit. This is a poorly designed facility at best, considering the amount of tax payer dollars spent. The staff is uptight, ignorant, and at times rude. The "range master" cannot see the range adequately from the center position, hence no screens for shooters and brass flying everywhere, and everyone is on edge. Once again Pima County has had the right idea, but just cannot seem to get it right. Everyone involved with the design of this facility should be fired, if they have not already been and forced to make restitution to the tax payers of Pima County.

The Range is set-up very well. I liked the benches and supplies offered. Collecting your own brass for re-loading is difficult as it either drops under other benches or is picked up by staff. Range Masters are RUDE. Shell Casings from semi autos land on others shooting lanes. Not enough benches. Would only use as last resort.

Range is an excellent place to shoot.
Range officers are helpful, but firm when it comes
to safety matters. Plenty of distance choices, but
which there was a 300 yard distance. Cost is very
reasonable and I give it a rating of 8 out of 10.

I absolutely hate going to this range! I would much rather make the drive out to the range at Three Points, which is an hour longer drive for me. The rangemaster was a total jerk to the shooters on both of the days that I was there. Some of the staff are okay but the rest know how to take the enjoyment out of a day at the range. It is too bad since the facility is a nice one.

I've gone here a few times, but will not be returning any time soon. The setup is great, but the staff is a little too anal-retentive. Safety is definitely priority one, but they take their authority a little too far and are not friendly about it. During my last visit, I found them making up new rules at least twice and I went back to the rule to verify that they were not there. Also, when I was trying to shoot, one of the workers was crawling around my feet picking up brass. I had every intention to clean up my brass after I was done, but I guess they were just bored. I appreciate their concern for safety, but they also need to be realistic and welcoming.

This range is great, the range master is nice, every there is kind, people (for the most part) pick up their brass, they've got 5,10,25,50,100,200 yard targets, and about 20 tables, I have never been there and had to wait for a table. They are huge on safety, all you gotta do is read the rules, follow them, and you will get along with everyone there. the fees are low, and they are very helpful if your weapon jams or something else is wrong. All in all, this is a very nice (cheap), friendly range.

I used to shoot in the desert to save money. Butnow I would rather shoot at the SERP. It's clean open air and there's almost always an open bench for me
